Precision machining subcontractor for stainless steel parts
Alpex is the stainless-steel machining specialist, designing technical parts for aeronautical connectors, for more than 70 years.
Alpex has state-of-the-art knowledge of the sector with its quality requirements and the required precision in machining. The parts are made on CNC fixed headstock machines, with diameters from 15mm to 200mm.

Made up of recent numerical control machines with fixed headstocks and reworking machines, it is continuously renewed.

For precision machining of metal parts
Alpex has 13 numerically controlled machines, including:
- 10 fixed headstock turning / milling centers, from 6 to 12 axes, from 1 to 3 turrets, with a capacity in bars of 3m up to diameter 65mm or in billets up to a diameter of 320mm. All these machines are equipped with a refrigerated 70 bar high pressure unit
- 3 milling lathes, 3 and 4 axes, single turret with a bar capacity of 3m, up to a diameter of 60mm
For metal part finishing operations
- 4 CNC turning / milling centers, 4 axes
- 6 traditional lathes
- 3 milling machines
- 4 column drills and 2 tapping machines
For industrial parts quality control
Production controls are carried out using various means:
- A KEYENCE vision control machine
- A MITUTOYO three-dimensional machine
- A MITUTOYO contourograph
- A profile projector
- Roughness gauges (Ra and Rt measurement)
- Binoculars
Hand-held measuring devices are also used, such as comparators, micrometers or alesometers.
For programming and monitoring the manufacture of mechanical components
Alpex is equipped with CAD software (solidworks), an ERP (louxor) for production monitoring and soon, a Manufacturing Execution System software for planning (AquiWeb from Astrée Software).
